Okay so it has dawned on me here today that Hip Hop is DEAD. We're sitting here in our Oasis – or Office as some people like to call it. And jamming out to some iTunes radio as we do everyday, and I decided to turn it over to "Flow 103". After a few songs had passed with me bobbing my head to the beat I noticed there was this song on…It was just repeating the words "My Dougie! My Dougie? My Dougie! My Dougie? – at that point everyone in the office was laughing ridiculously. (As creative people we reserve the right to make fun of other creatives) Upon looking into it a bit more I found out the song is "My Dougie" by Lil Wil. Which if any of you know…is kinda funny because one of the co-founders here is named Will. Does anyone see the irony? No? Okay moving on. So what I have decided today March 11th, 2008 is this. Hip Hop is dead. (I admit it; I'm guilty – today I bought the new Rick Ross CD and the new Snoop Dogg CD) Thats all I have. I'm going back to work now!
